Teacher assistance to strengthen STEM learning based on lesson study at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang

چکیده
STEM learning aims to prepare students themselves for a career based on the skills needed in 21st century, but this is still not concern teachers so assistance science and mathematics teachers. This intended strengthen teachers' understanding, skills, attitudes towards STEM. The steps taken mentoring activity include (1) initiation of contacts reports results, (2) discussions, (3) program planning implementation, (4) evaluation. results implementation steps, namely an agreement was obtained that comprehensive understanding concepts needed, were develop tools implement strong appreciation needed; agreed need form strengthening training preparing lesson plans practices as choice approach line with demands century; discussions related are formulation their involving fields Science Mathematics; evaluation stated evaluated process through observing using open-class reflection method, while product plan portfolios videos. conclusion stages which includes initiation, discussion, actions has strengthened learning.
